Crown Life is a beauty magazine. (One of the best, might I add) A beauty magazine in every sense of the word, that is why today’s focus is about making you the most beautiful version of yourself. Starting from the inside.
There are just a few simple things that if you apply them to your every day life, you will be happier, healthier, and you might even get your wings.
1. Take at least 10 minutes of quiet time.
Meditate. Take a walk in nature.
“If you want to conquer the anxiety of life, live in the moment, live in the breath.” Amit Ray
Doing this will calm you down, help to center you and ease anxiety.
2. Stop watching the news.
It’s true what they say, no news is good news. Watching the daily news is filled with negative happenings in the world that can leave you in a state of fear. If you can’t do this forever, then just take a week off and see how you feel. This also applies to celebrity gossip, it is all a senseless distraction and the focus is rarely positive.
Buy a journal and write down all the things you’re grateful for.
Make this an everyday process. It’s been proven that appreciation brings you more so why not focus on all the things, big and small, that you’re grateful for.
Have you ever heard of “The 15 Minute Miracle”? (it really works)
~When was the last time you went to an art gallery, museum, or simply walked down the street and appreciated the public works of art that surround many of us? Viewing art is a wonderful way to raise your spirits. Paintings, sculpture, architecture and other forms of art can please the senses and nourish your nonphysical being. They can also inspire creativity and excitement, and can be savored as a tangible expression of history. Next time you see an interesting building, a challenging sculpture or a provoking painting, take a few minutes to look at it from different angles and enjoy the feelings you get from it.
5. Be Kind Always
Call someone and tell them how much you love them. It will surprise and delight them. You’ll be making both your days.
Help a friend in need.
Volunteer at your favorite hospital.
Sit quietly and send love from your heart to all the people your life touches.
6.Seize the Day.
You only have up to a hundred years in your life. In contrast to the infinite past and infinite future, that’s a flash in time. Make the most of every second and don’t sweat the small stuff. Remember to have fun and play.
7. Accept people for who they are.
This may sound easy but it’s not. Everyone has a different perspective and just because they think or feel differently than you doesn’t make them bad or wrong, it just makes them.. well.. different. Learn to love people where they are on their journey as opposed to trying to change them. I learned the hard way but gained so much freedom when I accepted people and circumstances as they were.
